Composer's Notes:
Key To Synthesizer Stops
Tubular Bells/string orchestra mix. The tubular bells should sound on the attack and then immediately decay to a full, pure string sound.
Low strings. The sound should be rich, mellow, quiet.
Strings and woodwind mix. The sound should be orchestral but not overpowering.
Very light bells with slow sampler and ricochet attack. This sound represents dark space with pin dots of light and must contain a sense of unattainable distance.
Tower bells and strings. The bells should sound in octaves and on the attack, immediately dissolve to a string orchestra sound similar to punch set one.
Full church organ.
NOTE ON FINGER CYMBALS: Each singer should have a pair of finger cymbals and wear them on one hand only, playing them as a dancer would.
